# Overview

> Route your agent's LLM traffic through Switch Trust from Node.js

The Switch Trust TypeScript SDK connects a running agent to the Switch Trust gateway, so you can see its sessions and apply guardrails to its traffic. It wraps your existing LLM client with one function call — your prompts, your model choice, and the rest of your code stay as they are.

Requires Node.js 18 or later.
